One of my absolute favorite bands… and group of human beings… asked me to take photos of them during rehearsal. A complimentary bottle of whiskey and a private performance by The Brixton Riot? You call this work?
Unfortunately, I was not a top 3 finalist in the recent Eric Kim “The Decisive Moment” Street Photography Contest, but I am happy to say I was among the top 10 in the People’s Choice. I want to thank everyone for voting for my particular photograph. And a big congrats goes out to all the other winning photogs. This was a fantastic and inspiring experience!
Yesterday I made my second trip to Salon V for another quick photo session. The first can be seen here.
In a perfect world, I would have brought my Leica with me on to the diamond at Citizens Bank Park last Thursday instead of my iPhone. Then again, I may not have been able to truly appreciate the experience. Sometimes, a camera just won’t do.
The fantastic street photographer/personality Eric Kim, announced the top 20 finalists in his “Decisive Moment” Street Photography Contest. I’m proud to say that my photograph from June, which I’ve now entitled, “Love of Summer” is a finalist.
Please visit Eric’s Facebook gallery here, be great a sport, and give a “Like” to my photograph.
And while you are at it, please give Eric’s website and blog your attention. It’s a wonderful and entertaining resource for street photography.
I’m proud to announce the launch of my new photography website.
