It was a perfect day for some matinee baseball. I got an incredible last-minute seat in the Ferris Bueller/Cameron Frye Memorial Box at Citi Field. Unfortunately, no foul balls for me.

I finally took my Lensbaby Composer out to it’s first baseball game and was very happy with results. The entire set can be found here.

I recently wrote an article for Yahoo! about the best eating spots outside of Yankee Stadium and Citi Field. Originally, it was supposed to be about the best vendors, but they either a) don’t exist, or b) are just the lousy Midtown/tourist vendors selling dirty water dogs or Nuts-4-Nuts. There are a plethora of fantastic neighborhood destinations for pre-game chow. Give these places a visit.
