Sadie – Live at Don Hill’s, NYC 5/27/01

New York City artist and photographer Marcus Pierno recently posted the full performance of my former band, Sadie, live at Don Hill’s in May of 2001. This was the second night of our mini-tour with the band Specter, featuring Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke of The Smiths. Video from that set can be viewed here.

The Brixton Riot @ Maxwell’s, Hoboken, NJ 1/15/11

Without a doubt, one of my favorite rock groups is New Jersey’s own, The Brixton Riot. Their perfectly crafted jangle pop is absolutely infectious and their live performances are nothing short of perfection. I have had the honor of sharing the stage with these fine gentlemen in the past. Please do yourself a favor and check these fellas out. You will not be disappointed.

All the pictures from this show can be found here.

Pictures from their Haiti benefit show at Maxwell’s last year can be found here.

Before our set at The Local 269, I snapped some photos of some friends who opened up the evening: Joe Condiracci and the NYC duo Palaceaides.

The Grand Prospect

Last night I caught a very nice band at Arlene’s Grocery called The Grand Prospect. Much like The Band, this lovely ensemble has many different singers who take the group by the reins and weave their way through different musical genres… country, rock, soul… and just to bring the point home, they ended the set with a solid take on “The Night The Drove Old Dixie Down”.
