I missed out on the Christmas weekend blizzard in terms of getting those fantastic early morning shots. I woke up nice and early today, trudged through the snow drifts and untouched sidewalks, and quickly filled up the memory card in my Leica. That’ll teach me not to leave home with just one.
Before I had to return home, I caught a great sight. A subway train crossed over the Queensboro Bridge and in doing so, jettisoned an incredible amount of snow from it’s tracks in to the East River. It was absolutely beautiful, just as the city at 5:30 AM…
